Payroll reporting &remitting requirements for the month of September 2021

Back in July 2021, we reminded you that  Single Touch Payroll (STP) now applies to all businesses that employ.

STP is now part of what all employers must do. If you pay wages of any amount you must meet the ATO requirements.

To do this, you need a simple software program or have us as your Accountant lodge the details for you.

Over the last few weeks, we have had discussions with many of our clients about their annual wage paid for this coming year.

Quarter end reminder SGC @ 10%.

Now that September Quarter is over, please ensure that you pay yourself the agreed wage and remit your STP report to the ATO via your software.

28th October Superannuation Deadline

Don’t forget at the end of each quarter, You will also need to remit 10% of your gross wage as superannuation to your nominated fund.

The SGC must be done at 10% by 28th October 2021 to avoid SGC penalties.
